Geofrey Fortier

About Profile

Geofrey Fortier is a board-certified Physician Assistant and an eight-year veteran of the United States Air Force, where he spent much of his military career working in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and completed his Physician Assistant education at Yale University.

Prior to joining Austin Brain & Spine, Geofrey gained experience in neurosurgery in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He spent the past three years living in Germany with his family, where he volunteered with the American Red Cross, providing care to active-duty service members, military dependents, and retirees. During his time overseas, he enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and experiencing different cultures.

Outside of medicine, Geofrey enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing soccer, staying active, and traveling. He and his family are excited to settle into Austin and explore everything Central Texas has to offer.
